What is Hip Resurfacing?
Hip resurfacing is an interesting alternative to standard hip replacement for young male patients that want to return to high impact sports or work.
Why anterior hip replacement?
Anterior hip replacement is a minimal invasive muscle sparing technique to do a hip replacement. You will not need to observe hip precautions and many patients can return to driving and working earlier than patients undergoing a posterior approach.

Danielle Perkins

Danielle Perkins is a Physician Assistant and joined the practice in February 2009. While I am directly involved in any aspect of your care she has greatly helped me free up time for my patients. She serves as an extension of my care. She will be the first person you meet when coming to your appointment in the office and will be with you by helping me during your pre-operative evaluations, by assisting me in surgery, and by rounding with me in the hospital and providing post-operative care. Danielle worked at Hospital for Special Surgery before she started with me and has extensive knowledge on all aspects of surgical and nonsurgical care and can answer many of your questions when I am not immediately available.
